Licensed with the State of Connecticut as an Interior Designer, Ms. Goldberg's experience has been based within the New England market. Her career, prior to founding Goldberg Design, LLC, included working in three of the industry segments that directly affect Interior Design. Liz held positions of Director of Design at an insurance company that used pioneering design concepts in its corporate headquarters, Staff Designer at a furniture sales powerhouse, and Senior Designer at then the State's largest architectural firm involved in a major portion of new construction in Connecticut during the 1980's building boom. Through her experience, she developed a thorough understanding of how to combine design concepts with architectural considerations, and the specification and procurement of furnishing. Ms. Goldberg strives for solutions that are both sensitive to the needs of all parties and clearly focused upon the project goals. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BS in Interior Design, Ms. Goldberg has also completed studies towards her MBA at the University of Hartford as well as post graduate Interior Design studies at Parsons School of Design in New York. As Principal and Director of Design at Goldberg Design, Ms. Goldberg is involved in both residential and commercial projects of varying size. Her commercial clients include Duncaster Retirement Community, Yale University, Phoenix Home Life, Carvell America, Turner Construction, Prospect Realty, and Trinity College.
